Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the role holder will be providing support for the planning and implementation of company’s overall sales strategy and ensure effective revenue mobilization.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the availability of products/ services within assigned territories
  • Devise strategies and techniques necessary to achieving your revenue targets
  • Develop strategies for more effective sales in collaboration with the marketing team
  • Responsible for mapping potential customers and generating leads for the company through networking, and social media
  • Responsible for achieving maximum customer retention by maintaining and strengthening customers’ relationship
  • Provide support, information, and guidance on products and services to all customers as required
  • Assist the marketing team in exhibitions, seminars & conferences
  • Provide support to the department in ensuring visibility within all health facilities
  • Provide feedback (campaigns, customers, and prospects) to internal team to assist in necessary adjustments and improvements
  • Effectively exhibit the selling process from negotiation through closing deals, handling complaints and objections where necessary
  • Maintain contact with all doctors and relevant hospital personnel
  • Assist in preparing and organizing promotional events and activations within all sales territories to support sales
  • Identify product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities and competitors
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Prepare and deliver tailor made presentations on tests, panels, and packages as well as services where necessary
  • Collaborate with all departments to achieve better business results
  • Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

 

Personal Requirements and Experience:

  • A minimum of HND in Sales and Marketing or a related field.  A degree in sales, marketing, or related field is desirable
  • Sales and marketing experience in a medical laboratory environment will be an added advantage
  • Ability to effectively communicate (written & verbal) with other staff members and act as a representative of the company to the public.
  • Good presentation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver great results
  • Ability to pay attention to details

  • Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)

Brief Summary of Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, people-oriented, goal driven National Sales Manager who will be responsible for developing professional sales relationships with our customers and key partners. You will lead, supervise, inspire, develop, and coordinate the activities of our sales team and interface with our business unit heads to drive customer footfalls for their respective BU’s. You will be reporting to the Director of Marketing and Sales and support with the development and deployment of sales strategies that will win SYNLAB more customer accounts and forge more partnerships.

 

Territory/Location

You will be based in Accra but will be responsible for coordinating activities of the sales team nationwide.

 

Responsibilities

The National Sales Manager’s key responsibility will be to drive value creation and to deliver outstanding business performance through leading, supervising, inspiring, developing, and coordinating the activities of our sales team. You will work with the sales team to increase customer footfalls, sign up new customers, meet revenue targets and improve customer satisfaction and retention.

 

You will also:

  • Own and manage existing customer relationships.
  • Create and drive long term strategy and short-term tactics to achieve business goals in a timely manner.
  • Support the development of and achievement of strategic account plans for achieving revenue goals for all BU’s, including value expansion and margin.
  • Identify new business opportunities by initiating; developing or delivering unique solutions that result in improved outcomes for customer and company
  • Establish and build deep understanding of account needs, stakeholders, and competitive situation of accounts
  • Ensure weekly business reviews are conducted with your team and prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports.
  • Identify new partnership opportunities and negotiate long term contracts.
  • Coach and mentor the sales team to drive continuous improvement.

 

 

Education and Experience You will bring

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years’ experience with track record in Customer interface (Sales or Service) roles.
  • Mastery level experience in managing customer accounts
  • Ability to conduct assessments based on key performance indicators
  • Strong understanding of key stakeholders and customer dynamics
  • Strong solution selling and relationship building skills
  • Superior communication skills
  • Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues
  • Long-term, strategic focus on account
  • Excellent knowledge of the healthcare sector
  • Proven success at winning contracts
  • 50% Travel

We seek an individual who is a good communicator and demonstrates a strong sense of understanding in handling customer enquiries and complains. You will be collaborating with a team from various departments and will be reporting to the Customer Service Manager to ensure the satisfaction and retention of SYNLAB’s customers.

 

Territory/Location

You will be based in Accra but will be responsible for coordinating activities of the various branch when it becomes necessary.

 

Responsibilities

As the primary contact of the company, the Customer Service Executive’s key responsibility will be day-to-day managing of the company’s customers either by telephone, electronically or face-to-face and to ensure that customer enquiries/ complains are remedied. The key objective will be to assess customer needs to improve satisfaction and retention.

 

You will also:

  • Educate customers on products, services and promotions being run by the company
  • Set up customer accounts by providing accurate, valid, and complete information using the right methods and tools
  • Identify leads that develop into new customers
  • Provide periodic updates and verification of customer details
  • Collect customer feedback and update the marketing team to enhance operations
  • Find appropriate resolutions within the shortest time
  • Manage average customer wait time

 

Education and Experience You will bring

Required:

  • HND or Bachelor’s degree with 3 years’ customer support experience
  • Strong customer contact handling skills
  • Enduring and an active listener
  • Positive attitude and be able to work under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Fast learner with the ability to multi- task, prioritize and manage time effectively
